More

Our story starts with sustainability. More taste, and less impact on the planet. We don’t believe there’s only one way to produce better wines, so we continually seek opportunities to do so.
Woody bark

That could be through the rich, complex flavours of grapes grown on old vines that require less water. Or finding ways to lower sulphur and sugar whilst ensuring ethically sourced grapes and production.

Or maybe it’s using our network of artisan and independent family wineries where traditional viticulture methods have been honed over time and passed down through generations.

And, of course, our packaging is designed to reduce waste too, with less glass in our bottles sealed with natural corks, and more focus on the exceptional, sustainable wines within them.

Cabernet Franc – 2023

Cabernet Franc Flag Maule Valley, Chile

Classic alluvial soils, classic Cabernet flavours. 100 year old vines, in inaccessible vineyards (planted years before tractors) give lower yields yet exceptional character. Blackberry and sour cherry, herbs and spice, are balanced by soft tannins.

Pais – 2023

Pais Flag Maule Valley, Chile

The South American original, brought to Chile in the 1700s. Today, produced with grapes in mountain vineyards that are almost as old (and still farmed by hand and horse). Light and fruity, its candy, rose and cherry aromas linger.

Cinsault – 2023

Cinsault Flag Maule Valley, Chile

The gnarly bark and deep roots of old vines naturally require less human intervention. Just as well on the remote hillsides of Guarilihue where farming can only be undertaken by horse. This medium-bodied wine with dark plums, redcurrant and cherries, has a round, generous palate. 12 month ageing in old barrels makes it fruit-filled, bright and sappy.

Old Vine Blend – 2023

Old Vine Blend Flag Maule Valley, Chile

A solera. Blending Cabernet Franc, Garnacha, Cariñena, Monastrell, and Pais grapes from the (steep) hillsides of the Maule region. Fruit grows slowly on centuries old vines, with minimum intervention required. The result? Deep, dark and red fruit flavours, spices on the nose, and a long, fresh, baked fruit finish.
